Get Involved with the Lewis County Maternity House through volunteering or donating!

HERE ARE SOME ITEMS WE’RE ACCEPTING:

  • Bus Passes/Bus Tickets

  • Arts & Crafts supplies

  • New water bottles

  • Gently used or new maternity clothing

  • Cleaning & Toiletry supplies (paper towels, windex, sponges, toilet paper, dishwasher detergent pods, laundry soap, dish soap, hand soap)

  • Target/Walmart cards

  • Infant toys

Food items we accept: Canned beans (black, refried, kidney, garbanzo, pinto), Rice, Flour, Sugar (brown/white), Baking Soda, Baking Powder, Canned Tomatoes, Canned or Jar Pasta Sauce, Chicken or Beef stock, Canned Tuna, Canned Corn, Dried Pasta

ITEMS WE DO NOT ACCEPT:

  • Carseats

  • All furniture (including baby furniture)

  • Open packages of diapers/wipes etc

  • Anything broken, stained or missing pieces

All Donations are processed through the office. Any donations dropped at the home location will be discarded.

Financial Donations can be made using the link above or using the address below. The rent for a resident is $250/month. Scholarships funds can be made on behalf of a resident or towards the scholarship fund at the main office.

Does your organization want to throw a baby shower?

If your church or business is willing to throw a baby shower for an expecting mom at the Lewis County Maternity House, let us know and we’ll send you the needs of the mom and child.

Make a donation.

The Lewis County Maternity House provides safe and supportive housing for women experiencing pregnancy and homelessness. Consider supporting the Lewis County Maternity House through financial donations. Donations are processed through Cooks Hill Community Church. 100% of the funds donated for the Lewis County Maternity House are used for housing needs. These include but are not limited to: Scholarships for housing, utilities, facility upkeep, food, bedding, bus passes and more.
